Society for Community Care is one of the very few organisation
1. Which provides wholistic treatment for substance abuse which includes prevention, abuse and/or addiction treatment, detoxification services, after-care services, vocational training and rehabilitation intervention.
2. They are one of the 4 NGOs in the state providing Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST) for Opioid Drug users, since 2007.
3. They are the only NGO in the state that provides Harm Reduction intervention for Female Injecting Drug Users.
4. They implement an institutional rehabilitation service for substance users, including alcohol and drugs users.
