THE MODE OF TREATMENT: Is a holistic approach of healing using a trans personal, transformational technology, the corner stone being the 12 steps of AA/NA along with compulsory yoga & three meditations a day, with a goal of total abstinence not only from alcohol & other drugs, but also from their impulsive and compulsive behavior and an improvement on the bio-psycho, social and spiritual levels.
The patients are motivated to strictly adhere to a daily schedule carefully structured which gives them a consciousness and awareness of the time zone and time management enabling them to be specific and concrete in using time wisely. The 24 hours are broken into periods of work/study 38.55%, leisure and exercise 17.70%, life sustaining activities 12.5% and sleep 31.25%.
Through daily input sessions, group dynamics and peer examples along with professional counseling and therapy, the patient is initiated into the 12 step recovery program. The patient gradually begins to accept the concept of powerlessness over his addiction and accepts the consequences of his addiction. He is gradually weaned away from the KING BABY syndrome by equipping him with the necessary tools to come BACK TO LIFE.
