I, Garima Mohnani, from Lucknow have been working in the Indian beauty industry for over 17 years. I grew up believing that makeup is an incredible art which not only enhances one’s beauty but also adds to it. Before I took the plunge and branched out as an individual makeup artist, I worked at Lakme India for 14 years as an Expert Makeup Artist and Expert Hair Stylist. My stint at Lakme gave me exposure to global makeup and styling trends. Having worked with the best artists and brands in the industry, I have perfected several skills and techniques of eye makeup, bridal makeup, hair styling, hair coloring, hair updos (messy buns, braided buns, etc) and personalized makeup while working with renowned artists and professionals.

Over the years, my greatest reward has been to see people feel more confident and beautiful about themselves because of my efforts. Indeed, makeup can be truly life changing when done right. This is why I pay a great deal of attention to my clients and draw from my knowledge and experience to create innovative, fresh and edgy looks as per their requirements. It has taken years of expertise to develop a very popular makeup look for my clients called “Garima’s Signature Bridal Look and Hairstyle” which has been a very important part of my growth story.

I was a passionate individual right from the beginning and worked very hard to become one of Lakme’s leading wedding hair and makeup artists. My talent did not go unrecognized by my higher ups and I was awarded the “Lead Makeup and Hair Artist in North region” by Lakme India. I also got the chance to attend and showcase my talent at various workshops, shoots & events in India. I have been a part of glam teams backstage at many Lakme Fashion Weeks where I have worked on numerous Bollywood celebs and models.

My professional journey has been more than a decade long but my enthusiasm for my work still keeps growing every passing day. My work ethics have attuned me to performing best under pressure. I love taking up challenging deadlines and successfully completing them.
